Not too long ago we told you the story about an innovative company, coincidentally called Innovative Garages, which has been sending Indy City Gifts’ “Seal the Deal” cookies after they submit an estimate to a prospective customer. You can click here to read the previous story.

They loved the ease of sending a quick “thanks for considering our company” to potential new customers. “I think it’s great!” says Lisa Newkirk of Innovative Garages. “What I love about the cookies is that I just snap a picture of the customers’ name and address right after I do an estimate. The cookies go out the same day while it is fresh in the customer’s mind.”

After four years of sending cookies, the company could clearly see that the “Seal the Deal” gifts were having a positive impact on their bottom line. “It is something that makes you stand out a little more,” says Lisa. But they recently got a solid confirmation from a prospect, that the “Seal the Deal” gift did just that—seal a deal!

“The cookies did the trick,” says an email from a new customer who had just received a $2,500 estimate for renovations to his garage. Lisa was both surprised and gratified that this Angie’s List member had chosen Innovative Garages. “I thought it was pretty cool because he had received quotes from two of our competitors. We are trying to do something that sets us apart from our competitors, but normally we don’t know what makes the difference.” In this case, it was clear—cookies!

With another happy customer in the making, Innovative Garages can be confident that their company’s gratitude is both well received and appreciated. To learn how you can “Seal the Deal” or celebrate the completion of a profitable job with a “Party in a Basket” gift, call Deb at 317-782-4438.
